It’s time for another edition of Meet the Zoo…
Today’s child is Wyatt. He wandered onto our property a couple years ago and we’ve never let him leave. In my (albeit short) lifetime, I have yet to meet a cat more tolerant and docile than he. He’s such an easy-going guy that he was recently in a community theater production. He’s the only child of ours with a headshot (Thanks to Bruce Huff Photography!)
After his stellar performance, our local animal interest reporter, Mary Wicoff, interviewed “us” for an article in the Commercial-News. I had to go along because Wyatt seldom has much to say. He usually just communicates with those gorgeous eyes. That’s great at home, but not so wonderful in the newspaper. I have chatty cats and I have silent cats. Wyatt is definitely the strong, silent type. Charmed felt the need to bless him with the moniker of Wyatt, because, after all, “Cats urp.” A little creative license on the phrase and our family inherited a sheriff.
I am madly, passionately in love with this charming guy and wish I could clone him for the world to know!
